Let’s get straight to the point: Mr. Spratt is starting this campaign with over $600,000, which he has amassed over his 27 years in Congress.
No matter how strong our message is, or how effective our grassroots efforts are, without substantial financial resources the whole effort will be hamstrung. So many people don’t know that Mr. Spratt voted for the bailouts, cap and trade, and the health care bill – getting that word out will be very expensive.
I hope you can see fit to help out. Even just $20 will be a great help. The maximum contribution per person as of right now is $2,400, $4,800 per couple. Federal law requires that I collect each donor’s full name, address, phone, occupation, and employer (if applicable).
You can contribute two ways:

Thank you for supporting my campaign. For someone who is still relatively new to politics, raising money is the most uncomfortable part of the job. However, it seems to be very much a necessary evil. And it will be a critical part of sending Mr. Spratt home.
Mick
