Let’s get straight to the point: In 2010, you helped me beat a 28-year incumbent, electing the first Republican from the 5th Congressional District since Reconstruction.
We saw that no matter how strong our message is, or how effective our grassroots efforts are, without substantial financial resources our whole effort would have been hamstrung.
I hope you can see fit to help out. Even just $20 will be a great help. The maximum contribution per person as of right now is $2,600, $5,200 per couple. Federal law requires that I collect each donor’s full name, address, phone, occupation, and employer (if applicable).

Thank you for supporting my campaign. For someone who is still relatively new to politics, raising money is the most uncomfortable part of the job. However, it seems to be very much a necessary evil.
